Project overview

This project was a solo project created in the time span of a semester. The criteria were to create a project that relates to current social issues. I create a communicative physical board that connects and controls through a phone app.  

Objectives

To connect and better communicate during the Covid times with families, coworkers or roommates through remote phones.

The project came across many changes before the medium prototype, from this process, I learned that backing up and documenting work is a crucial part of design practice as I lost some of my work due to technical difficulties.

  • changing the material of the Netoboard to make it more eco-friendly 

  • testing with more user groups and families 

  • incorporating planner and baby features for parents.
